Incumbent Democrat Lois Frankel's bid for reelection in Florida's 22nd Congressional District, rated Solid Democratic by Cook Political Report with a D+4 partisan lean, drives trader consensus favoring the Democratic Party amid her history of double-digit victories. Recent Democratic special election successes in Palm Beach County—including a state Senate flip in SD-14 and Emily Gregory's upset win in a Trump-endorsed race—signal local momentum, aligning with national generic ballot polls showing Democrats ahead by 5-6 points. Republicans, at 36%, benefit from a crowded primary field but face barriers in the district Kamala Harris carried by 5.5 points in 2024; August 18 primaries and November 3 general election loom as key tests.
