New Zealand Women hold a slim 52.5% implied probability as series favorites in their home three-match ODI series against South Africa Women, driven by a dominant 3-0 sweep over Zimbabwe earlier this month—highlighted by Amelia Kerr's all-round mastery—and the return of opener Suzie Bates from injury alongside Flora Devonshire and Georgia Plimmer, strengthening their batting depth ahead of the Hagley Oval opener. South Africa's competitive edge stems from their solid ODI form, including a 2-1 series win over Pakistan in February, but key absences like Dane van Niekerk's calf injury and Marizanne Kapp's rehabilitation temper trader optimism. Batter-friendly pitch conditions and the day-night toss could sway momentum, with standout bowling spells or top-order collapses pivotal in tipping the balance.
