CeeDee Lamb has posted 39 receptions through five games in 2026, averaging 7.8 catches per contest on a league-leading pace in volume early in the year, highlighted by a career-high 17-reception outing against the Texans. The 27-year-old Cowboys wideout has operated primarily with Dak Prescott under center and shares targets with newcomer George Pickens, which has tempered his share compared with prior seasons when he commanded a larger portion of the passing game. A quad bruise sustained in Week 5 against the Buccaneers is described as minor, with Lamb expected to return for the Week 6 matchup at Green Bay after extra rest. His recent injury history and the Cowboys’ 2-3 record introduce some uncertainty around sustained volume, while the remaining schedule and offensive line health will influence how often he sees opportunities in the passing attack.
