Aleksandar Vukic, ranked No. 93, enters as the clear trader favorite against wildcard Taha Baadi (No. 593) in the Grand Prix Hassan II Round of 32 on clay in Marrakech, reflecting Vukic's superior ATP experience and their lone head-to-head win for the Australian in a 2018 Challenger qualifier. Vukic's recent hard-court form has been shaky, with a Miami main draw loss to qualifier Rafael Jodar after qualifying success, while Baadi struggles at 4-8 YTD, including straight-set defeats in recent ITF events like Metepec and Montreal. Clay favors neither strongly—Vukic at 5-13 ATP lifetime, Baadi at 40% 2026 win rate—but Baadi gains home-crowd boost and surface familiarity as a Moroccan, potentially fueling an upset in the March 30 matchup.
