Entering the final round of the Texas Children's Houston Open at Memorial Park Golf Course, William Mouw clings to a narrow lead with Luke Clanton and a tight pack—Brice Garnett, Kevin Roy, Jeffrey Kang, Lee Hodges, and Takumi Kanaya—all within one stroke at 15-under or better after strong Round 2 surges, including birdie runs and chip-ins that vaulted them past early favorites like Gary Woodland. This co-leaderboard logjam reflects trader consensus on the field's parity, with no player holding more than a stroke advantage amid benign scoring conditions and minimal wind compared to prior days. Mid-tier pros and young talents like amateur standout Clanton dominate implied probabilities near 50%, underscoring the course's birdie-friendly layout favoring hot putters, while established names like Jason Day and Chris Kirk lurk further back with recent form edges but tougher paths on the firm, fast greens.
