Fabiano Caruana leads trader consensus at 31% implied probability for the 2026 FIDE Candidates Tournament winner, bolstered by his world No. 2 rating near 2810, multiple prior runner-up finishes, and early dominance in the FIDE Circuit standings after strong showings in the Sinquefield Cup and Olympiad. Hikaru Nakamura (19.5%) follows with consistent elite form, including a recent Candidates qualification path via rating average, though his classical volatility tempers odds. Rising prodigy Javokhir Sindarov (17%) surges on World Junior title and rapid 2700+ climb, while Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu (13%) gains from India's Olympiad gold and youth momentum at 19. Anish Giri (9.5%) and Wei Yi (8%) reflect steady top-10 ratings, with recent circuit points edging Esipenko and Bluebaum lower amid tougher qualification battles.
