The Milwaukee Brewers have seized momentum in this NL Central series at Wrigley Field, winning the first two games behind dominant outings from starters like Jacob Misiorowski and consistent offense that has exploited Chicago’s recent struggles. The Cubs, who sit atop the division but have dropped four straight, continue to see their bats go quiet against quality pitching while their bullpen absorbs additional damage. Both clubs remain tightly bunched in the standings, with Milwaukee just a game or two back and riding strong recent form on the road. Pitching matchups, including left-hander Kyle Harrison’s upcoming start, home-field dynamics at Wrigley, and the need for Chicago to halt its skid will shape the next contest, though the Brewers’ hot streak and division-rival familiarity keep the implied probabilities competitive heading into the finale.
