Trader consensus reflects a 62.5% implied probability for no unbeaten champion in the UEFA Europa Conference League knockout stages, driven by the narrow survival of just three eligible teams—Crystal Palace, Mainz 05, and RC Strasbourg—through play-offs and round of 16 without a defeat, relying on draws and extra-time aggregate wins. Recent round of 16 second legs around March 19 confirmed their status amid tight contests, including Crystal Palace's 2-1 a.e.t. second-leg triumph over AEK Larnaca and Strasbourg's 1-1 draw sealing progression past Rijeka. However, quarter-final ties starting April 9 pit them against seasoned sides like Fiorentina, Shakhtar Donetsk, AZ Alkmaar, and Rayo Vallecano in two-legged home/away formats, where leg losses are routine given head-to-head dynamics and seeding paths to the May 27 Leipzig final. No Conference League winner has gone unbeaten since West Ham in 2023.
