Paul Skenes leads trader consensus at 26% implied probability for the 2026 NL Cy Young, but a tight cluster with Mitch Keller (21.6%) and Jacob Misiorowski (20.5%) underscores the futures market's emphasis on young, high-upside starters amid NL rotation uncertainties. Skenes' electric 2024 rookie dominance (1.96 ERA, 170 strikeouts in 133 innings) fuels sophomore expectations, while Keller's career-best durability (177 innings, Pirates staff ace) and Misiorowski's filthy debut (triple-digit fastballs, 30%+ K-rate in minors) signal breakout potential for Pittsburgh and Milwaukee arms. Veterans like Chris Sale and Zack Wheeler trail due to age and workload risks, keeping the race fluid as health, rotations, and 2025 performances loom large in this projection-heavy market.
