The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Singapore Changi Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/sg/singapore/WSSS. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Official observations from the National Environment Agency (NEA) stations across Singapore, including Changi, confirm the daily maximum temperature reached 33°C on April 8 amid inter-monsoon conditions featuring afternoon thundery showers that increased cloud cover and suppressed further heating. NEA's fortnightly outlook anticipated highs of 33–35°C, but persistent showers aligned with historical April patterns—where average maxima hover around 32–33°C—capped peaks at the lower end, driving trader consensus to near-certainty on this outcome as the day nears resolution. Realistic challenges include a late revision from a peripheral station exceeding 33°C or an unverified outlier reading, though unlikely given midday peaking norms and declining solar angles. NEA daily records expected by the 10th will finalize.
