Mercedes' overwhelming early-season dominance under 2026 regulations has concentrated trader consensus on their drivers, with George Russell at 43.5% and rookie Kimi Antonelli at 33.3% implied probabilities for the Drivers' Championship. Antonelli seized the points lead with 72 after his commanding Japanese Grand Prix victory from pole—his second win in three races—edging Russell (63 points) who finished fourth amid strategy plays and a safety car. Russell's prior Australian GP triumph and veteran consistency maintain his edge, while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc (49 points, 6.3%) and others trail amid Mercedes' superior power units and energy management, widening the gap after podium sweeps in Australia and China.
