Mercedes teammates George Russell and Kimi Antonelli dominate trader consensus for the 2026 F1 Drivers' Championship, reflecting their stranglehold on early races amid new regulations favoring the Silver Arrows' car. Russell, with a commanding Australian Grand Prix victory and consistent podiums, holds a 45.5% implied probability as the experienced frontrunner despite trailing Antonelli by nine points after the Japanese GP on March 29. The Italian rookie's stunning wins in China and Japan—claiming pole at Suzuka before recovering from a poor start to become the youngest-ever points leader—have surged his odds to 31.9%, highlighting his rapid adaptation. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc lags at 5.5% after third places, while Max Verstappen's 2.1% reflects Red Bull struggles and his post-Japan hints at a potential 2026 exit, underscoring Mercedes' momentum.
