Celia Cervino Ruiz meets Jessica Bertoldo in the first round of the ITF W15 Grado on clay. The 33-year-old Italian Bertoldo sits at a WTA ranking of 693 with a career high of 491, yet she carries a 5-9 record in 2026 and has lost her last five matches, raising questions about current form and consistency. Younger Spaniard Cervino Ruiz, ranked in the 880-960 range with a career high of 504, may gain an edge from Bertoldo's recent struggles on a surface where steady baseline play often decides outcomes. Home-country support for Bertoldo adds a situational factor, while both players seek early-round momentum in this lower-tier event with no reported injuries or late changes.
