Trader consensus on Polymarket reflects a tight lightweight division scrum for Max Holloway's next UFC opponent, with Conor McGregor edging Benoît Saint Denis at 29.5% and 28.0%, closely trailed by Paddy Pimblett at 25.0%, amid no official announcement from UFC matchmakers. Saint Denis' dominant first-round submission of Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 304 on July 27 fueled his surge, as he explicitly called out Holloway post-fight, while Pimblett's rear-naked choke finish of Bobby Green that night amplified UK vs. Hawaii hype. McGregor's star power and bad-blood history sustain his slim lead despite inactivity, with Dan Hooker's prior head-to-head bouts (split 1-1) keeping him viable at 19.0%. Holloway's BMF title win over Justin Gaethje at UFC 300 opened high-stakes lightweight paths, but absent fresh injury reports or bookings, the market stays bunched and fluid.
