Trader consensus on Polymarket prices Lê Minh Hưng at 95% to become Vietnam's next Prime Minister, reflecting his rapid ascent to Politburo membership and head of the Communist Party Central Committee's Organisation Commission during the 14th National Congress in January 2026, alongside incumbent Phạm Minh Chính's exclusion from the new Central Committee. The March 15 National Assembly elections delivered nearly 97% seats to Communist Party candidates, setting up the legislature's first session—imminent after the party's ongoing week-long plenum since March 23—to ratify nominations for president, prime minister, and assembly chair. This commanding position underscores internal party personnel dynamics, with realistic challenges limited to last-minute shifts, scandals, or health issues among key figures.
