Elite Eight matchups in the 2026 NCAA Men's Tournament define paths to the Final Four, with top seeds Duke, Michigan, and Arizona facing Purdue, UConn, Illinois, and upstart 9-seed Iowa alongside 6-seed Tennessee after Sweet 16 triumphs like Michigan's 95-72 rout of Saint Louis and 90-77 defeat of Alabama, Duke's narrow 80-75 edge over St. John's, and UConn's 73-57 dismantling of UCLA. No major injuries mar official reports, leaving trader consensus focused on 1-seed dominance in neutral-site battles, historical head-to-head edges—such as Duke-UConn familiarity—and Cinderella momentum from Iowa's upset run. Games tip off Saturday with Iowa-Illinois and Purdue-Arizona, Sunday's Michigan-Tennessee and Duke-UConn deciding semifinalists for Indianapolis.
