Paul Skenes leads trader consensus at 27% implied probability for the 2026 NL Cy Young, but a tight cluster with Mitch Keller (23%) and prospect Jacob Misiorowski (21%) reflects surging optimism around young power arms amid uncertain veteran health. Skenes' electric 2024 debut (1.96 ERA, 170 strikeouts in 133 innings) positions the Pirates ace as the frontrunner, yet Keller's durability (177 innings, sub-4.00 ERA) and Misiorowski's triple-digit fastball in the Brewers system keep the race bunched. Cristopher Sanchez's breakout (3.32 ERA over 181 frames) adds Phillies depth, while injury histories for Chris Sale, Zack Wheeler, and Spencer Strider cap their shares below 10%, underscoring the market's focus on sustained innings and prime-age dominance in a wide-open NL pitching landscape.
