This is a polymarket on the driver who achieves the fastest lap at the 2026 F1 Japanese Grand Prix, scheduled for Mar 29, 2026. If the 2026 F1 Japanese Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Apr 5, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other." This market will resolve in favor of the driver who is officially credited with the fastest lap in the Final Classification published by the FIA following the conclusion of the race. The fastest lap must be set during the race itself; times from practice sessions, qualifying, or any other sessions are not considered. If no driver completes a lap during the race (e.g., due to a red flag ending the race prematurely), this market will resolve to "Other." The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.Kimi Antonelli's commanding performance at the 2026 Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka propelled Mercedes to victory, with the young driver securing pole position in qualifying, leading the 53-lap race, and posting the official fastest lap of 1:32.432 to claim the DHL Fastest Lap point. This back-to-back win following China underscores Antonelli's superior race pace and tire management on the demanding Suzuka circuit, topping final practice and outpacing teammate George Russell by 0.254s in FP3. Trader consensus at 100% reflects the FIA-confirmed results, leaving negligible room for others amid Antonelli's dominance. Realistic challenges would require rare post-race stewards' review, such as timing discrepancies or protests, with no current indications of issues.
