This is a polymarket on the constructor team whose driver achieves the fastest lap at the 2026 F1 Japanese Grand Prix, scheduled for Mar 29, 2026. If the 2026 F1 Japanese Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Apr 5, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other." This market will resolve in favor of the constructor team whose driver is officially credited with the fastest lap in the Final Classification published by the FIA following the conclusion of the race. The fastest lap must be set during the race itself; times from practice sessions, qualifying, or any other sessions are not considered. If no driver completes a lap during the race (e.g., due to a red flag ending the race prematurely), this market will resolve to "Other." The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.Mercedes' commanding weekend dominance at Suzuka has solidified trader consensus at 100% implied probability for the squad securing the Japanese Grand Prix constructor fastest lap, with Kimi Antonelli posting benchmark times across sessions—1:29.362 in FP3, pole at 1:28.778 in qualifying, and the race's official fastest lap of 1:32.432 on lap 49 amid his victory. Leading the 2026 constructors' standings with 135 points, Mercedes has showcased superior race pace and adaptation to new regulations, outpacing Ferrari and McLaren. While official results confirm the outcome, rare challenges like lap time reclassifications or post-race penalties could theoretically shift resolution, though none have emerged.
