David Njoku's recent one-year agreement with the Los Angeles Chargers, worth up to $8 million and positioning him as a primary target for quarterback Justin Herbert, has driven overwhelming trader consensus toward the team for the 2026 season. After nine seasons with the Cleveland Browns and a public decision not to return, the Pro Bowl tight end entered free agency and quickly aligned with Los Angeles, reflecting strong roster fit and offensive scheme compatibility. This development has solidified the Chargers as the clear leader in market pricing, though the short-term contract leaves room for future movement. Potential shifts could arise from unexpected injuries, performance adjustments, or late roster changes, but current reports indicate Njoku is firmly set to suit up in Los Angeles for the upcoming campaign.
