Trader consensus in the Naismith Men's College Coach of the Year market reflects a dead-heat atop the leaderboard, pricing Tommy Lloyd (44.5%), Bill Self (43.5%), and Josh Schertz (42.0%) within razor-thin margins amid midseason conference grinds. Lloyd's Arizona Wildcats climbed to No. 4 in NET rankings with an unblemished nonconference slate and early Big 12 dominance despite portal turnover; Self steadied Kansas through quarterback-like guard injuries to snag Quad 1 road wins last week; Schertz engineered Saint Louis Billikens' surprise A-10 lead via transfer portal savvy and defensive schemes. Scheyer's Duke leverages top freshmen for ACC contention, while Dusty May resurrected Michigan State to 11-3. Fluid injury reports, schedule strength, and March Madness path keep the wisdom-of-crowds probabilities tightly bunched.
