Trader consensus prices Bukayo Saka and Florian Wirtz as narrow leaders in the FIFA World Cup most assists market, with probabilities tightly bunched around 50% across top playmakers, reflecting the expanded 48-team field's inherent parity and reset after qualifiers concluded April 1. Saka's edge stems from England's favorable group draw and his reliable wing creativity, evidenced by 1 qualifier assist, while Wirtz impressed with 2 assists in Germany's dominant qualification run. The competitive dynamics persist due to shared profiles among creators like Ødegaard (UEFA's 7-assist qualifier leader), Fernandes, and Simons, whose national teams eye deep knockout progression but face variable minutes, tactical shifts, and reliance on finishers in compact group stages and beyond.
