This market will resolve to the player who records the most assists through all rounds of the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official leader as determined by FIFA World Cup rules. If multiple leaders are announced then this market will resolve to the player who completed more passes during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The tightly bunched implied probabilities around 45-48% for Antonee Robinson, Marcel Sabitzer, Kevin De Bruyne, and Hakan Çalhanoğlu reflect a highly competitive field where no single player holds a decisive edge entering the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Creative midfielders and wing-backs from teams with balanced attacking options stand out due to their recent club form, high chance-creation rates, and stylistic fit for set-piece delivery or progressive passing in group-stage matches. Factors like squad depth, fixture congestion in the expanded 48-team format, and variable playing surfaces further level the playing field, allowing underdogs such as Salem Al-Dawsari or Simon Adingra realistic paths to the assist lead through strong team cohesion or favorable knockout draws. Trader consensus captures this uncertainty in a wide-open tournament where assists hinge on collective output rather than individual dominance.
