Mercedes' overwhelming pace under 2026 regulations has positioned George Russell and Kimi Antonelli as overwhelming trader favorites for the Drivers' Championship, with the teammates dominating early Grands Prix through consistent podium sweeps. Russell leads implied probabilities at 43.5% thanks to his unflinching consistency—securing pole at Australia, victory there, and repeated P1/P2 finishes—bolstered by his experience edge over the 19-year-old Antonelli, whose raw qualifying speed and back-to-back wins, including pole-to-flag at Suzuka last weekend to seize the standings lead (72-63 points), justify his 35.2% share in this tight intra-team duel. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc trails at 5.9% amid Mercedes' superior race pace and reliability, while others lag without competitive machinery for consistent podium contention.
