This market will resolve according to the next individual to formally assume the office of the President in Peru in accordance with Peruvian succession procedure.
Interim Presidents will count, including any individual who assumes the office of the President after being selected by the Peruvian Legislature.
If no individual has assumed the office of the President by April 12, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The resolution sources for this market will be official information from the government of Peru and a consensus of credible reporting.
