In the ITTF World Cup Macao 2026 men's singles Group 4 clash, trader consensus gives world No.4 Tomokazu Harimoto a slim 52.5% implied probability edge over Nicholas Lum (world No.42), reflecting Harimoto's pedigree and semifinal run at WTT Champions Chongqing where he ousted Lin Yun-Ju before falling to Wen Ruibo. Lum's upset threat stems from straight-sets takedown of higher-ranked Darko Jorgic in Chongqing's round of 32, though his 1-3 group loss to Milosz Redzimski yesterday underscores vulnerabilities. No prior singles head-to-head heightens uncertainty in this round-robin matchup, with top-two advancement on the line; late fitness updates or serving inconsistencies could swing sentiment.
