Viktorija Golubic enters as the clear favorite in her Miami Open qualifying matchup against Thea Frodin, driven by her superior WTA ranking around No. 110 versus Frodin's sub-500 standing and limited pro-level experience. Golubic's recent hard-court form includes a solid run to the second round at Indian Wells, showcasing her baseline consistency and serve hold percentage above 70%, while Frodin relies on ITF-level wins but struggles against top-150 opponents. No head-to-head exists, but Golubic's 65% win rate on outdoor hard courts bolsters trader consensus implying over 85% probability. Key watch: Frodin's youth and flat-hitting could test early if Golubic's movement lags from travel fatigue, though rest advantages favor the veteran Swiss in this first-round qualifier.
