Defending champions Sierra Leone Women open the BCA Kalahari Women's T20I Tournament against Brazil Women on April 6 at Gaborone's Botswana Cricket Association Oval 1, seeking to build on their unbeaten 7-match run and title win over hosts Botswana last year. Brazil, returning to Africa after an absence, holds a recent edge with an 8-wicket victory over Sierra Leone in the Kwibuka Women's T20I Tournament last June (chasing 86 in 13.4 overs), powered by allrounder Lindsay Boas. Both squads rely on versatile performers—Sierra Leone's Emma and Aminata Kamara for runs and wickets, Brazil's Laura Cardoso and Maria Ribeiro for batting depth and spin. No injury concerns reported; toss winner may target batting first on potentially true African pitches amid round-robin format pressures.
