The Afghanistan-Sri Lanka T20I series, originally set for three matches in Sharjah from March 13-17, was indefinitely postponed on March 11 due to escalating Middle East tensions impacting UAE security, with potential rescheduling to late 2026 at the same venue. Afghanistan named opener Ibrahim Zadran as their new T20I captain, replacing Rashid Khan following a disappointing ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 campaign where they secured wins over UAE and Canada but lost to New Zealand and South Africa. Sri Lanka showed mixed form in the tournament, defeating Oman but falling to Pakistan in a thriller. Head-to-head in T20Is, Sri Lanka holds a strong record, though Afghanistan's spin attack poses upset potential on Sharjah pitches favoring batsmen and spinners. Traders should monitor official rescheduling announcements for market resolution.

This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/.
DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins.
