Anhelina Kalinina enters the WTA 125 Dubrovnik Open semifinals on red clay as the likely trader favorite after dominating Tamara Zidansek 6-0, 6-3 in the Antalya WTA 125 final two weeks ago, showcasing superior serving and break-point conversion on the same surface. Kalinina, ranked No. 127 with an 18-5 record this year, has advanced undefeated in Dubrovnik, defeating Nuria Brancaccio in the quarters amid a 17-1 streak over her last 18 matches, bolstering her momentum. Zidansek, No. 130 and 14-6 YTD, rallied past Sara Sorribes Tormo and Veronika Erjavec here but faces a stylistic mismatch against Kalinina's baseline consistency; no injury concerns reported, though fatigue from dense scheduling could factor.
