Portugal holds a slight edge as hosts in the T20I Tri-Series at Santarem Cricket Ground, where recent head-to-heads against Norway show dominance—Portugal won the last two matches of their 2025 bilateral series by 54 runs and 9 wickets after Norway's opening 39-run victory. With the series opener Norway vs France on April 5, both sides enter unbeaten, bolstered by solid European qualifier form; Portugal's batting depth led by Ahanas Rao and bowling spearhead Najam Shah contrasts Norway's spin threat from Raza Iqbal. Pitch conditions favor high-scoring chases, making toss crucial, while clear weather and full squads heighten a competitive matchup with tri-series progression implications.
