California's 32nd congressional district holds its top-two primary on June 2, 2026, with all candidates on a single ballot and the two highest vote-getters advancing to the November general election regardless of party. Incumbent Representative Brad Sherman (D), first elected in 1996, faces Democratic challengers including Christopher Ahuja, Dory Benami, Jake Levine, Marena Lin, Josh Sautter, and Anna Wilding, plus Republican Larry Thompson. Sherman holds advantages from established name recognition, fundraising, and California Democratic endorsements. The race remains early in the formal campaign period with limited polling available, and no significant late-breaking developments have emerged to shift the field in the final weeks before voting.
