No. 1 seed Arizona leads trader consensus at 27% implied probability to win the 2026 NCAA Tournament after dominating Arkansas in the Sweet 16 yesterday, extending their 33-2 record and Big 12 title run, but faces a stern Purdue test in tonight's West Region Elite Eight. Michigan (23.5%) and Duke (21.5%) trail closely, both No. 1 seeds with 31+ wins, surging past Alabama and shaky early foes respectively in recent Sweet 16 action to highlight their depth and momentum. Illinois (13%) rounds out the top tier amid Big Ten strength, keeping the race tight as chalk favorites advance without major injuries, balanced paths through brackets, and historical Final Four volatility underscoring upset potential in March Madness.
