Athletics directors Bubba Cunningham and Steve Newmark enlisted executive search firm Turnkey ZRG to pursue external candidates skilled in NIL deals and the transfer portal, prioritizing long-term leadership amid post-Roy Williams expectations for ACC dominance and Final Four contention. A fresh report yesterday ruled out T.J. Otzelberger, yet high-profile names like two-time champion Dan Hurley and Alabama's Nate Oats face steep buyouts, sustaining the tight race absent confirmed interviews or frontrunners.
