Alexander Zverev holds the strongest position in the 2026 French Open market after early exits by Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic cleared his path in the draw. The German has posted a dominant 17-4 clay record this season, advanced convincingly through the early rounds at Roland Garros, and reached at least the semifinals in five of his last six appearances at the event. Younger contenders such as Jakub Mensik and Flavio Cobolli have shown solid clay-court results in recent months, while Felix Auger-Aliassime benefits from improved movement on the surface and a favorable quarterfinal matchup. Matteo Berrettini and Joao Fonseca remain longer shots due to inconsistent recent form and limited deep runs on the Paris clay. These developments have shaped trader consensus around Zverev’s experience and current momentum.
