Trader sentiment on the AI bubble burst market reflects low implied probabilities for a near-term downturn, driven by sustained massive investments and robust performance from key players like NVIDIA, which recently hit a $5 trillion valuation amid record revenues exceeding $68 billion in its latest quarter. OpenAI's $110 billion funding round in March at a $730 billion valuation, backed by NVIDIA and Amazon, underscores ongoing capital inflows into artificial intelligence infrastructure despite rising concerns over data center costs, electricity shortages, and dot-com-like concentration risks highlighted in recent analyses. No resolution triggers—such as a 50% drop in NVIDIA stock or 40% in the SOXX semiconductor ETF—have materialized, with bearish warnings from figures like Michael Burry failing to dent enthusiasm. Watch NVIDIA's next earnings and potential hyperscaler capex updates for catalysts that could shift dynamics.
