Trader consensus on Polymarket prices New York City median home value on April 1 within a tight $575k–$585k band, with 37.8% implied probability for 580–585k edging out 28.8% for 575–580k amid balanced sentiment on near-term price momentum. This competitive positioning stems from February Zillow Home Value Index data showing NYC values holding steady around $582k average, pressured by persistent 6.8% mortgage rates curbing buyer demand despite low inventory levels. Key differentiators include recent softening in March pending sales and slight rate dips to 6.79% (Freddie Mac, March 28), versus potential upside from anticipated Fed rate cuts and resilient NYC rental spillover. Resolution hinges on the latest index snapshot, with no major catalysts in the past 48 hours.
