Trader consensus on Polymarket prices "Yes" shares for the Steam Machine hitting $700 or more at launch at a 72% implied probability, driven by recent leaks from an authorized Czech retailer listing it near $950-$1,000 and component cost analyses estimating a $699-$910 bill of materials. Surging RAM and storage prices amid AI-driven shortages have eroded hopes for sub-$700 pricing, with Linus Tech Tips' breakdowns aligning closely with PlayStation 5 Pro territory. Valve's latest Steam Year in Review update reaffirmed an early 2026 console release despite supply challenges, but omitted pricing details, fueling bets on premium positioning over budget appeal. Watch for preorder announcements as the key near-term catalyst.
