This market will resolve to “Yes” if the listed team makes the 2025–26 NHL Playoffs. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No.” A team will be considered to have made the Playoffs if it qualifies for the postseason bracket under the official rules of the NHL for the 2025–26 season. Qualification through any officially recognized NHL format (including Wild Card berths) will count. If it becomes impossible for the listed team to qualify for the Playoffs based on the rules of the NHL (e.g. the team is mathematically eliminated), this market will resolve immediately to “No.” The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NHL, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used. With under three weeks left in the 2025-26 regular season, NHL Stanley Cup Playoff races remain intensely competitive in both conferences, with no spots clinched and nine Eastern teams vying for eight berths. Detroit Red Wings surged in the East wild-card race via a 5-2 upset over Atlantic-leading Buffalo Sabres on March 27, while Pittsburgh Penguins edged Ottawa Senators in a shootout to claim second in the Metropolitan—though Sidney Crosby's lower-body injury clouds their momentum. In the West, Los Angeles Kings shut out Vancouver Canucks to climb toward wild-card contention, as Edmonton Oilers' OT win over Vegas keeps the Pacific packed. Key injuries like Ottawa's Thomas Chabot out long-term and Columbus' Zach Werenski week-to-week intensify bubble battles among Islanders, Boston, Nashville, and LA, where remaining schedules and goaltending will decide fates.
