This market will resolve to "Yes" if Valve removes the listed map from the official map pool by June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, and the removal lasts continuously for at least 48 hours. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Temporary or testing removals reversed within 48 hours do not count. The "official map pool" refers to the Active Duty map group in CS2, used for competitive matchmaking (Premier mode) and professional tournaments. For the purpose of this market, “Valve” refers to Valve Corporation, the developer and publisher of the Counter-Strike series. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Valve; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Valve's January 2026 update to the CS2 active duty map pool removed Train—citing low pick/ban rates in Premier—reinstating Anubis after its brief July 2025 hiatus, maintaining the standard seven-map rotation of Anubis, Ancient, Dust II, Inferno, Mirage, Nuke, and Vertigo. No pool alterations have occurred in the past 30 days, though March tweaks to Inferno's A-site (extended balcony, removed graveyard) and map annotations aim to refresh the meta. Trader consensus reflects accumulating Premier and pro-circuit stats, with underperformers like Ancient and Nuke facing scrutiny for imbalance; upcoming Premier Season 5 around April-May could prompt another swap before June 30, amplified by FACEIT's optional eighth-map voting starting April 22.
