Trader sentiment for World Baseball Classic MVP remains fragmented across a wide-open field, with all listed stars priced at 0.1% implied probability roughly 18 months before the 2026 tournament opener on March 5, reflecting unannounced rosters, distant timelines, and vulnerability to injuries or opt-outs. Differentiators include Shohei Ohtani's defending 2023 MVP pedigree and two-way dominance for Japan, USA sluggers Aaron Judge and Bryce Harper's home-run torque amid favorable home venues, Dominican Republic standouts Juan Soto and Fernando Tatis Jr.'s elite on-base percentages in clutch spots, and emerging USA talents like Bobby Witt Jr.'s speed-power-defense blend or Paul Skenes' strikeout arsenal, all hinging on national team selection and tournament momentum.
