This market will resolve according to the next UFC fighter that Max Holloway is officially announced to face in a UFC bout. Resolution for this market will be based on the next UFC fighter that Max Holloway is officially announced to fight, regardless of whether the fight ends up taking place. Only official announcements from the UFC, which include a scheduled date for the bout, will count. Announcements with no date or which do not confirm that the fight is official, speculation, or other unofficial announcements will not count. If Max Holloway is officially announced to fight any non-listed fighter or no qualifying announcement is made by February 28, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC.Trader consensus favors Conor McGregor at 38.5% implied probability to face Max Holloway next, fueled by Ariel Helwani's March 25 report naming Holloway the front-runner for McGregor's anticipated welterweight return at International Fight Week on July 11, alongside Holloway's public openness to a rematch at any weight class following his BMF title loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC 326 on March 7. Benoît Saint Denis sits at 18.5% amid persistent callouts dating back to late 2025 and unconfirmed early negotiation rumors for a potential 2027 lightweight clash, while Dan Hooker's 14.5% reflects his recent lightweight contention and stylistic striker matchup appeal post-Holloway's Oliveira defeat. Lower probabilities for Justin Gaethje, Paddy Pimblett, and Ilia Topuria stem from their established histories with Holloway but lack fresh momentum, as Arman Tsarukyan's April 1 critique labeled Holloway "done" after a subpar Oliveira performance, heightening comeback opponent speculation.
