If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the national champion of 2026-27 NCAA Football Division 1 season per the rules of NCAA (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after February 8, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NCAA; however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Indiana Hoosiers lead trader consensus at 43.5% implied probability to repeat as CFP National Champions after their stunning 2025 title win under Curt Cignetti, bolstered by a top-ranked 2026 transfer portal class including elite QB, WR, and RB additions that rank No. 2 nationally per recent spring window rankings. Oregon Ducks and Notre Dame Fighting Irish trail closely at 42.5%, fueled by highest returning production—14 starters for Oregon including QB Dante Moore—and top-five 2026 high school recruiting hauls, positioning them for Big Ten and independent playoff pushes. The bunched top tier reflects expanded 12-team CFP parity, with Georgia, Ohio State, Texas Tech, and Texas leveraging strong schedules, NIL-fueled rosters, and transfer reinforcements amid minimal offseason attrition.
