This market will resolve according to the player that finishes the 2025–26 NBA regular season with the highest assists per-game average of any qualified player. In the event of a tie for the highest assists per-game average, this market will resolve in favor of the player who appeared in the greater number of games. If the tied players also played the same number of games, the market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. Qualification for inclusion in official NBA leaderboards (such as minimum games or statistical thresholds) will be determined according to NBA rules and applied exactly as reflected in the official leaderboard. The resolution source will be the NBA (NBA.com/stats).Nikola Jokić commands a 99.5% implied probability as NBA assists per game leader, pacing the league at 10.8 APG over 61 games amid his career-high triple-double averages of 27.7 points, 13.0 rebounds, and elite playmaking in Denver's offense with Jamal Murray. Trader consensus solidified after Cade Cunningham, second at 9.9 APG, suffered a collapsed lung in mid-March, missing nine games and requiring at least another week out despite Detroit's Eastern Conference lead at 56-21. With both teams holding 5-6 games remaining and Nuggets securing a No. 4 Western seed at 49-28, Jokić's margin appears insurmountable. Realistic challenges include a Jokić injury, extreme load management, or an improbable surge from Luka Dončić (8.3 APG) or James Harden (8.1 APG).
