This market will resolve to the manager who wins the 2026 National League Manager of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the manager whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus on Polymarket's NL Manager of the Year market shows an extraordinarily tight race, with Carlos Mendoza (Mets), Dave Roberts (Dodgers), Craig Counsell (Cubs), Pat Murphy (Brewers), and Tony Vitello (Giants) all at 44% implied probabilities just one week into the 2026 MLB season. This parity stems from early volatility—Brewers lead NL Central at 6-1 under Murphy, fresh off back-to-back division titles and a recent extension, while Dodgers sit atop NL West at 5-2—but no team has separated amid widespread contender rosters boosted by stars like Mets' Juan Soto. Key differentiators include Murphy's proven turnaround momentum, Roberts' perennial playoff pedigree, Vitello's buzzy college-to-pros narrative highlighted by his first MLB win, and Counsell's Cubs rebuild traction. Swing factors hinge on sustained division leads, injury navigation, and midseason surges toward October, as historical voting favors regular-season overachievers.
