This market will resolve to "Yes" if Donald Trump deploys any active duty National Guard troops into Washington, D.C., by August 31, 2025 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

Only the actual deployment of active duty National Guard personnel into Washington, D.C., will qualify; an announcement of a future deployment alone will not count.

Both the active deployment of the D.C. National Guard and the deployment of out-of-state National Guard units into Washington, D.C., by President Trump will qualify, regardless of whether the troops are engaged in public-facing operations within the market's time frame.

The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the U.S. government, however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
