In the WTT Contender Tunis 2026 men's singles quarterfinals, top seed Flavien Coton (#26 ITTF) holds a slim 50.5% implied probability edge over veteran Andrej Gacina (#95), reflecting trader consensus on a tightly contested battle driven by contrasting profiles. Coton, a rising French talent, advanced via gritty round-of-32 and round-of-16 wins over Andrei Putuntica (3-1) and compatriot Jules Rolland in a down-to-the-wire decider, showcasing resilience but exposing potential fatigue from demanding matches. Gacina, the 39-year-old Croatian with a 2022 WTT Star Contender title, impressed with straight-set progress before a hard-fought 3-2 R32 triumph over Rogelio Castro and R16 defeat of Ricardo Walther, leveraging experience against youth. No head-to-head history amplifies uncertainty; pre-match warm-ups or serving inconsistencies could sway odds in this best-of-seven format.
