Tampa Bay Rays (2-4) right-hander Joe Boyle (0-0, 3.00 ERA in limited action) takes the mound against Minnesota Twins (2-4) counterpart Bailey Ober (0-0, 6.75 ERA) in the Twins' home opener at Target Field, the first of a three-game set. Both clubs limp in after slow starts, Rays splitting 1-2 road series at St. Louis and Milwaukee amid early offensive woes, while Minnesota seeks momentum post-opening losses. Notable absences include Rays reliever Edwin Uceta (15-day IL, shoulder) and Twins prospects like David Festa (15-day IL, shoulder impingement) plus Travis Adams (elbow). Even 2025 head-to-head (3-3) and home-field edge shape a competitive trader consensus.
