In the Bucharest Open qualifying first round on outdoor clay, No. 140 Chun-Hsin Tseng holds a ranking edge over No. 220 Stefanos Sakellaridis with greater ATP Tour experience, though his recent form lags with clay losses in Concepcion and Rio qualifying earlier this year. Sakellaridis, a 21-year-old reaching a career-high ranking in February, arrives with momentum from a gritty three-set win over David Jorda Sanchis in Naples Challenger last week before a round-of-16 exit, marking his freshest clay action. No head-to-head exists; Tseng's baseline consistency faces Sakellaridis's 6-6 serving frame in a matchup where qualifier upsets are common amid variable March weather. Trader consensus reflects Tseng's pedigree tempered by Sakellaridis's recent clay competitiveness.
