Dalibor Svrcina enters as the higher-ranked contender at No. 100 against Jacopo Berrettini at No. 304 in the Barletta Challenger's opening round on clay, where trader consensus reflects Svrcina's superior recent form on the ATP Tour. Svrcina notched a straight-sets win over Cristian Garin in Cap Cana last week before hard-court losses to top seeds like Jannik Sinner and Flavio Cobolli, showing competitive edge at higher levels; Berrettini, meanwhile, arrives off three straight Challenger defeats, including a recent clay loss to Sascha Gueymard Wayenburg in Split. With no head-to-head history, surface familiarity favors the Italian Berrettini slightly at home, but no injuries or weather disruptions alter the matchup dynamics.
