Sebastian Baez, the No. 5 seed ranked No. 52 with a proven clay-court pedigree including quarterfinal runs at Buenos Aires and Santiago earlier in 2026, faces rising No. 105 Vilius Gaubas in the ATP 250 Bucharest Round of 32 on outdoor clay. Baez boasts a 14-7 YTD record and excels on the surface with superior topspin defense and consistency, while Gaubas enters off his first ATP Tour win as a lucky loser in Santiago but recent Challenger losses highlight the ranking gap in their first head-to-head. No injury concerns reported; Baez's seeding and surface mastery drive trader consensus favoring him ahead of the March 30 matchup.
